i use sai for drawing/coloring and photoshop for editing. i used to use painter, but i haven't used it much since i started using sai ... i've been meaning to start using painter again though, just so i'll feel like i didn't buy it for nothing

oh that's actually really easy to do in photoshop.
here's how i usually make outlines --> [link]
and for stuff like memes, where you want to outline the words and draw underneath them, i do this --> [link]
i made these kinda quick but hopefully they make sense... there are different ways to go about it too, so these are just some of the ways
